Unit & Lesson Planning

When planning a unit or a lesson it is important to plan right from the start to include lanugage goals and objectives. This helps build academic in the content areas. The district has moved away from separate content and language objectives is now encouraging what they are calling CLOs-Content Language Objectives. The resource document below will explain more about CLOs and how to build them effectively. The lesson plan template that I have developed, is in the style of UdB and includes other elements that can make a plan more effective, resonant and fun to teach.

Below you will find the templates for lesson planning and for unit planning. Also there is a resources document that will help with the planning templates. They are Google docs so you can open them and save a copy in order to create your own plan.
